1. Obituary. Ilene Joyce Lamb, 78 of Tomah passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born June 14, 1939, in Adams to Russell and Ella (Bowen) Fairfield.

She is survived by her children, Robert Lamb Jr., of Washington, Joyce (Keith Rose) Jorgensen of Tomah, Connie (Jack) Garber of Warrens, Janice (Ron) Obernberger of Tomah, Gaylon (Samantha Tabbert) Lamb of Camp Douglas and Sheila (Jeff Cornell) Lamb of Tomah; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lamb Sr.; and sister, Mae Wagner.

Ilene loved to spend time in her flower gardens and enjoyed fishing. Ilene also liked to go to the casino and "push buttons" and play bingo. One of Ilene's favorite places to be was outside lounging in her chair, enjoying her flowers. She loved seeing her grandchildren. When asked what her greatest accomplishments in life were Ilene stated, her six children and that she proudly attained her GED and graduated high school, June 15, 1995 at the age of 55. She was very proud of doing so.

Funeral services will be at noon, Wednesday, May 16, at Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah. Pastor Darren Deford will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Wood Cemetery in Tomah.

Ilene married Robert Roy Lamb, son of Gaylon Leroy Lamb and Carrie Elizabeth Griffin. (Robert Roy Lamb was born on 17 Nov 1936, died on 28 May 2005 and was buried on 1 Jun 2005 in Tomah, WI, Wood Cemetery.)
