• Obituary. Jack W. Marquardt, 60, of Wyeville, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2004, at his home in Wyeville. He was born on April 16, 1943, in Eagle, Wis., to Jack and Marjorie Marquardt.
On Aug. 27, 1983, he was united in marriage to Nelda Lamb. He spent some working years on farms and for the City of Oconomowoc.
He also drove semi truck for almost 20 years for DART and other companies and worked for Gerke Excavating for 10 years. Jack loved fishing, hunting, and playing practical jokes.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda of Wyeville; and his step-father, Al Young of Mukwonago; brothers, sisters, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Otto Marquardt; his mother, Marjorie Marquardt Young; and a brother, Gene Marquardt.
Funeral services were on Monday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor John Ambelang officiated. Burial followed in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Mather.
Jack married Nelda Amanda Lamb, daughter of Gaylon Leroy Lamb and Carrie Elizabeth Griffin, on 27 Aug 1983 in Spring Bank, WI. (Nelda Amanda Lamb was born on 24 May 1935 in LaGrange, WI, died on 8 May 2008 in Tomah, WI and was buried on 13 May 2008 in Mather, WI, Pine Grove Cemetery.). The cause of her death was Small cell lung cancer.
