James HICKCOCK was the son of Joseph HICKOCK and Elizabeth GAYLORD, the oldest of their four children (James (ca 1700/1-7 Jun 1725), Joseph (ca 1702-27 Aug 1779), Hannah (ca 1704-2 Jun 1789) and Ruth (ca 1708-aft 1725). James was born in about 1702. He died in June 1725, at age 22.
He married Catherine KING, daughter of John KING and Mehitable POMEROY, on 17 Nov 1724 in Northampton, Hampshire Co, MA.
James died a few months after their marriage, when he was 22, in June 1725. The headstone says he died on June 25, 1725. The death vital record may not exist. Some sources say he died on 3rd or 7th of June, but they were not vital records.
