1. Obituary. William "Bill" E. Lamb, 59 of Tomah, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, LaCrosse. He was born on March 18, 1956 to Gilbert and Leona (Steege) Lamb in Tomah. Bill worked for many years as a painter. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and also a NASCAR fan. Also in his spare time, Bill enjoyed keeping busy with carpentry projects at his home. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed by those that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Nicole (Andy) Melquist of Cottage Grove and William E. Lamb, Jr. of Kenosha, 2 grandchildren, Reagan and Reese Melquist, a brother Harold Lamb of OR, 3 sisters, Rosena (Larry) Babcock of OR, Beverly (Donald) Hartlein of FL and Rita (Michael) Jasinski of Tomah, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Fredrick, Gilbert, Jr, and Duane Lamb and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Hegg, Marie Meacham and Arlys Fulton.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016, 2:00 P.M at Pine Grove Cemetery, Township of Mather. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be given at www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com

William married Lois.

William had a relationship with Susan Shaw, daughter of Kenneth Shaw and Vida Young. (Susan Shaw was born in 1955.)
