1. Obituary. CLAYTON, N.M. - Edith Mamie Jones, 94, died Thursday, June 1, 2006, in Albuquerque.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Phillips, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Jones was born July 31, 1911, in Plainview, Texas, to George Washington Gray and Louisa Jones Gray. She was an active member of Amistad United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Clara May Daves of Albuquerque; two sons, George Gene Jones of Clearwater, Fla., and Harold Dean Jones of El Cajon, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Amistad United Methodist Church, Amistad, NM 88410.
