ABOUT PATRICIA I was born and raised in the Platteville area. I was brought up by the best parents in the whole world, Kim and Glenn Chandler. I graduated from UW-P with plans of teaching high school social studies, but currently I am working as a Personal Banking Assistant at Wisconsin Community Bank in Fitchburg, WI.

ABOUT JASON Jason is the son of Dusty and Sherry Pothour. He was one of the lucky people who discovered what he wanted to be and made it happen. He is a journeyman plumber at Bill's Plumbing and Heating, Platteville, WI.

HOW WE MET Jason and I have known each other since high school. Never anything more than friends. I always ignored my mother's comments about what a nice boy Jason was and how I should really go on a date with him. Turns out, mom's are always right!! Thanks Mom!! Jason asked for my number one day when he was out working and saw me on a walk. He called me that night, very, very late and asked me on a date. After I asked who he was, I accepted the offer, end of story.

WHEN WE GOT ENGAGED May 17, 2006

HOW IT HAPPENED We moved to McFarland in January of 2006. As soon as spring hit we were looking for a good time to go for a walk down by the lake, a little exploring of our new home. It had been raining all day, but when I got off from work the rain stopped and the sun came out so we took that walk. Jason got down on one knee in the mud.
