1. Obituary. Yvonne (Bonnie) Murphy, 78, went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, October 22, 2009. A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, October 26, 2009 at the chapel of First Baptist Church Wichita Falls, Texas, with Dr. Howard Chapman officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Yvonne was born on June 15, 1931 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. She moved to Wichita Falls in 1967 from Montgomery, Alabama. She is a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Social work from Midwestern State University at the age of 59. She was a social worker for the American Red Cross. Bonnie adopted the Wichita Falls Station 5 Firefighters, for whom she made cookies on weekends for 6 and ½ years. A creative person, she loved to sing, play piano and guitar, sew, crochet, and celebrate birthdays and holidays with family and friends. Poetry accompanied her handmade gifts and cookies for neighbors, friends, family and her beloved Joy Class. She published in "Southwest Poetry"," Mature Living",Cookbooks, and her personal Biography, "The Merry Years." She loved her bird,Tobi and dog, Radar.

Yvonne is survived by three sons, Paul Harberts and wife Jill of Wichita Falls, Texas; Greg Harberts and wife Barbara of Houston, Texas; Mark Harberts of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Jackie Hankinson and husband Wayne of Wichita Falls; Amy Anuszewski and husband Robert of Reading, Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Sharon Belding and husband Charles, Kathy Carl and husband Art both of Beloit, Wisconsin, Michael Ensley and wife Carol of Charlotte, N.C. In addition, there are many nieces, nephews and close friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wichita Falls Station # 5 Firefighters. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Ensley; daughter, Laura Lyn Harberts; daughter in law, Maybell Harberts; two Brothers, Charles Lotti and David Ensley.

The family will greet visitors following the memorial service at the chapel, First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, Texas. Final burial will be done privately by the family.
