1. Obituary. Opal Anna Hodoval was born on September 29, 1900, in Waterloo, Wisconsin, daughter of James W Hodoval and Clara E Dersch. There were at least six Hodoval children: Ruth Lucille Wieland (1893-1982), Irene Hazel Wieland Dolinski Harding (1896-1987), Leroy Hodoval (1898-1911), Opal Hodoval Wieland (1900-1975), Olga Myrtle Ryan (1903-1994), and Bernice L Jensen (1913-1957).

Opal married William Wieland on April 21, 1917, in Lancaster, Wisconsin. They had five children in 22 years, four girls and one girl, including: Clara Mae P Wieland (1917-), Hazel Brinkman (1918-1975) and Marion Virginia Stark (1920-1997).

Opal died on April 30, 1975, in Lancaster, Wisconsin, at the age of 74, and was buried there.

Opal married William Wieland, son of Christian Younger Wieland and Caroline Louisa Brinkman, on 21 Apr 1917 in Lancaster, WI, Presbyterian Church. (William Wieland was born on 31 Jul 1898 in Potosi Township, WI, died on 9 Aug 1985 and was buried in Lancaster, WI, Hillside Cemetery.)
