1. Obituary. MADISON - Karl E. Koehler, age 61, of 2789 Fitchrona Road, died on Sunday, April 21, 1985, at the Veterans Administration Hospital of an extended illness. He was born on July 6, 1923, in Madison. Mr. Koehler was a life long Madison resident. He married Anita Brigham on April 3, 1948, in Madison. He was a veteran of World War II. Mr. Koehler was a self-employed printer. He was active in the American Legion Post No. 151, he was also a member of the

Eagles Club. Mr. Koehler helped organize the Southern Wisconsin Diabetes Association. He is survived by his wife, Anita; a son, Scott of Madison; two daughters, Deborah Astin of England; Susan Koehler of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; his mother, Florence of Madison; a brother, James of England; a sister, Myra McNelly of Silver Spring, Maryland; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 1985. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, April 22, 1985, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Greater Madison Chapter of the

Wisconsin Diabetes Association.
