Since then he has lived on different farms until about seven or eight years ago he bought the farm of Frank Bonham four miles south of this city where he has ever since lived. He was aged 74 years, 1 month and 13 days. He leaves his aged widow who is almost totally blind to feel his loss most sadly. He has taken great pains to care for her wants and to make her in her misfortune as comfortable as possible. Some two years ago, Fred, one of his sons, met with a sad accident of upsetting with a load of lumber, the lumber falling upon him injuring him so seriously that he died soon after the accident occurred. The rest of the sons that mourn the loss of their father are Josesph, Barnett, and John of Potosi, and William of Lancaster.
