Excerpt from the 1933 Old Timer's Section of the Boscobel Dial in which a group of old timers began to write to the Boscobel Dial to reminisce about themselves and others. This was

Andrew McFall was a pioneer barrister of Boscobel. He taught school in the early days. The Marietta School was in need of a teacher who could handle the unruly boys. So the school board hired McFall for $75.00 a month, an unheard price. The opening day of school he gave a brief talk. "If you want, throw paper wads at each other and at me but don't let me catch you at it." There was a big fight - one boy had a broken arm and others had bruises, but they found out who was boss. It was Mr. McFall.

Excerpt from the School's Section:

From 1956 to 1962, the rural schools (including Marietta Valley) consolidated with the Boscobel Area Public Schools.

Excerpt from the Attorney's Section:

1915 A. McFall had a law office in Boscobel.
