1. Miscellaneous: Funeral Pamphlet. George Daniel Quincy, son of Jane Lory Quincy and Adam Quincy, born March 22, 1883 on the Quinch family farm southwest of Platteville.
On February 16, 1916, he was married to Grace Wilson of Lancaster. Seven children were born to them. He was prceded in death by a son, Guerson, who passed away February 15, 1968.
Surviving are his wife, Grace, Platteville; Wilson, Lancaster; Mrs Leslie (Eleanor) Bendorf, Platteville; Mrs Lyle (Ruth) Bendorf, Livingston; Mrs Luther (Alice) marlet, chicago; Mrs Myron (Mercedes) Gwyn, Phoenix; Mrs Earl (Georgia) Grenzow, Juda; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
He was an industrious and thrifty farmer and when his mother passed away in 1928, he purchased the home farm.
He was a member fo the Platteville Free Methodist church and contributed much in a financial way.
He had been failing in health for several years and passed away March 15, 1968.
George married Grace Mercedes Wilson, daughter of Charles Dudley Wilson and Mary Frances Cook, on 16 Feb 1916 in Lancaster, WI. (Grace Mercedes Wilson was born on 25 Jun 1890 in Grant Cty, WI, died on 12 Dec 1973 in Platteville, WI and was buried in Platteville, WI, Greenwood Cemetery.)
