1. Obituary. Grace Wilson Quincy was born June 22, 1890, the daughter of Charles and Mary Cook Wilson, residents of rural Lancaster Wisconsin. After graduation from the Lancaster high school, she attended the Evansville Seminary, Evansville, Wisconsin and then transferred to the Platteville Normal School from which she graduated. She taught rural schools at Flora Fountain and Bunker Hill.
She leaves to mourn one son, Wilson of Lancaster, Wisconsin, five daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Bendorf of Platteville, Mrs. Ruth Bendord of Cobb Wisconsin, Mrs. Alice Marler of Chicago Illinois, Mrs. Mercedes Gwynn of Phoenix Arizona, and Mrs. Georgia Grenzow of Judah Wisconsin; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Guerdon and by her husband George in 1968.
