Christian & Caroline farmed and raised all their children o n the same farm in Potosi Township, Wisconsin. A son, Mart in, later purchased the farm and continued farming until h e retired to Lancaster, Wisconsin. Then a grandson of Chri stian, son of William, Virgil "Bud" Wieland, purchased th e farm where he farmed with his sons William Virgil "Billy Bud", Dennis, and Dick. The farm is/was known as the B& D Farms, located southeast of Hurricane Corner. ![]()

At the age of 4 years, he came to this country with his parents and settled in Dubuque. Two years later, the family moved to Potosi, WI. ![]() Christian married Caroline Louisa Brinkman, daughter of Christian Brinkman and Johanna Louisa Rabe, on 25 Mar 1885 in Lancaster Township, Grant County, WI, Hurricane Church. (Caroline Louisa Brinkman was born on 11 Nov 1861 in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, died on 2 Jun 1936 in Lancaster, WI and was buried in Lancaster, WI, Hurricane Cemetery.)
