1. Obituary: Winona Daily News; Nov. 29, 1963. Arcadia, Wis. Mrs. Laura Wieland, Arcadia, died at 9:52 a.m. today at St. Joseph's Hospital here, where she had been a patient since September.
The former Laura Vesperman, she was born to Christin and Salina Vesperman June 18, 1884, in Lancaster, Wis. She was married to Albert Wieland there December 20, 1906. The couple farmed in Glencoe township until moving to the city in 1945.
Survivors are: One brother, Rudy Vesperman, Chippewa Falls; one sister, Mrs. Millie Vesperman, Lancaster, and three grandchildren. Her husband and a son have died.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Lutheran Church, the Rev. Walter Schultheiss, Marshfield, Wis., officiating. Burial will be in Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery.
